The Situation
I live in Honduras, in a town called San Francisco de la Paz on the eastern part of the country. My city could be compared to the early nineteen hundred's west what with the lack of paved roads, trash pick up, waste removal, and everyone walks around armed. I live in a house by myself. My house has a plastic ceiling, and shower and letrine in the back yard. I've lived here now for seven months and have seen some whack stuff...

Hi,
I'm Tyler, 20 years old, studying Education at the College of Charleston. I was raised as a missionary kid in Honduras. I want to encourage you because I know what you are experiencing. Honduras is a beautiful country with great people! The more time you spend there, the more normal everything will become :)
I am researching the difference of teaching in other countries in comparison to the U.S. If you are a teacher, or if anyone else is teaching there in Honduras I would love to be in communication to get some information.
Thank you Neil,
Viva Honduras
